Beef Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
1 lb lean Ground Beef 1 Cup Onion, Chopped1 Cup Celery, Chopped/Diced1 Cup Mixed Vegetables1/2 Cup Frozen Corn2 Cups Tomatoes, Canned2 Cups Potatoes, Canned3 Cups Beef Broth1 Tbsp Parsley Flakes, Dried1 Bay leaf, whole1 tsp Garlic PowderSalt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Brown beef, then add onions. When soft, add other ingredients except salt & pepper. Bring everything to a boil, then simmered for 20 minutes or for as long as an hour.

Taste the soup & add the salt & pepper as needed.

I like to use organic ground beef & organic beef broth. I also like to throw in some red pepper flakes to give the soup a kick.

This soup tastes great after 20 minutes cooking, but tastes even better the next day. So, if you wanted, you cook this soup the night before. Then before heating, you can remove the film of fat, if any, to reduce the fat content even further.

(1 cup dry ingredients with 1 cup liquid)
