Ingredients
Strawberries - 5 cupsPear Halves - 3.5 CupsHoney - 2 Tbsp
Directions
Wash your strawberries & drain your pear halves (I prefer to use canned pear halves in 100% juice, so you don't need to wash them).

Slice your strawberries into thirds / halves and measure out 5 cups and add them to the blender.

Add your Pear halves into the blender (no need to do additional cutting).

Hit puree until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.

Add 2 TBSP of honey (I like Raw organic honey)

Blend for an additional 30 seconds

Lightly grease 2 cookie trays (I like to use EVOO)

Spread the pureed mixture evenly onto both cookie trays.

Here's where you have some leeway. You can either cook them in the oven for 8 - 10 hours at 150 - 200 degrees (F) or you can dry them in the sun for a full day.

You can also use a food dehydrator if you'd like, just make sure you place them on wax paper first!

When they're done they should be slightly chewy - fruit roll up consistency

I made this without the honey in a dehydrator and it was yummy. I found you didn't have to cut up the strawberries if you are using a food processor - just put whole strawberries and the pear halves in and it will grind it up without a problem. Thanks for the great recipe. - 1/11/10
