Banana Nut Oats

Ingredients
1 very ripe banana, mashed1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract1-1/2 cups nonfat milk1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats1 Tbsp chopped walnuts
Directions
Mash the banana with the vanilla extract and set aside. Combine the milk and salt in a medium saucepan and heat until almost boiling. Add the oats and cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until creamy. Stir in the banana mixture. Remove from the heat, cover, and let stand for about 5 minutes. Divide the oatmeal between bowls and sprinkle with walnuts.
