Passover Charoset

Ingredients
From the book "Passover Seders Made Simple" by Zell Schulman1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts, or a mixture)5 small apples, peeled and cored1t grated lemon zest4T sweet wine (or more to taste)1.5T sugar1T ground cinammon1t ground ginger
Directions
Chop the nuts and applees into a medium-sized bowl. Add the lemon zest, wine, sugar, cinnamon, and ginger and combine. Adjust the seasonings to taste, then cover and refrigerate.

Makes 2 cups. Serving size is about a quarter cup.
