Ingredients
1/2 bag Maple Leaf Grilled Sirloin steak strips1/2 cup onion1/2 cup red pepper1 whole tomato diced (medium size)1/2 cup salsa1/2 cup brown rice1 cup water1 tsp chili powder1 tsp garlic1 tsp cumin2 tsp Frank's Hot sace
Directions
1) Cook meat, onion, garlic and peppers together
2) Add remaining ingrediants
3) Cook for 60 minutes until rice is cooked

    Flavor-wise, it's ok, but the recipe itself needs MUCH clarification. Cook meat and veg how? At what temp? For how long? (my beef ended up tough because it was perfect..before it simmered for an hour) Specific steak strips not available here, so is there a general term? Is it frozen? How many oz? - 3/29/11
