Guava Empanadas

Ingredients
**Empanada Discos 10 pack (color or white), 5" (Try Goya) to save time!!**Filling8 ounces guava jelly 4 ounces butter, softened 3 ounces cream cheese **Glaze2 eggs, beaten 1/2 teaspoon water
Directions
*Guava Jelly, cream butter and cream cheese together in a large mixing bowl until well blended and smooth
Heat oven to 400. Move oven rack to top third of oven.
*Take an empanada disc and Add about a tablespoon of filling in the middle of each round, fold in half. Secure edges by pressing with a fork.
*Brush each half-round with the egg and water which have been beaten well.
*Place on a baking sheet well apart.
*Bake 25 minutes or until glolden and hollow-sounding when tapped.
* **TRADITIONALLY ***Pan fry or deep fry till brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

*Cool on wire rack.
