Heavy Cream Peach Pie

1 each 9 inch unbaked pie crust4 Tablespoon of cornstarch3/4 cup granulated sugar4 Fresh large peaches, skinned, cut in half with pit removed.8 oz heavy whipping cream
Pre heat oven to 450.
Mix together cornstarch and sugar.
Layer half of the cornstarch and sugar mixture in the bottom of the unbaked of nine inch pie crust.
Place halved peaches, bowl side up in the bottom of the pie plate.
Layer remaining cornstarch and sugar mixture over the peaches.
Pour 8 ounce whipping cream over the peaches.
Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
Lower heat and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Let cool slightly before eating.
