1/2 cup butter, softened1/2 cup peanut butter1 cup packed brown sugar1 egg3 Tbsp milk1 tsp vanilla extract1 cup old-fashioned oats3/4 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder1/4 cup toasted wheat germ1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp baking powder1 cup golden raisins3 Tbsp sesame seeds
1. In a large jixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eff, milk and vanilla.
2. Combine the oats, flour, milk powder, wheat germ, salt, baking soda and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. stir in raisins.
3. Drop by 1/8 cupfuls 4 in. apart onto a greased baking sheet. Flatten into 3 -in. circles. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Yield 2 dozen
