1 cup green beans3 shallots, thinly sliced1 tablespoon olive oil1 teaspoon wine vinegar1 teaspoon maple syrup1/4 cup slivered almonds
Steam or blanch beans unil tender but still firm and bright greeen. Saute shallots in oil, vinegar and maple syrup until translucent. Add almonds and brown slightly; toss with beans.
