Low Fat, Low Cal White Cake

Ingredients
1/2 cup Splenda, sugar substitute3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce3 egg whites1 tbsp vanilla extract1 tbsp baking powder1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F
First you are going to want to mix the sugar, applesauce, vanilla, and baking powder. After those ingredients have been mixed well, you can start to add in the egg whites. When adding the egg whites down't dump them in, pour them in slowly shile constantly mixing the batter. Once you have all the wet ingrdients mixed, start to fold the batter into the flour. MIx for a few more minutes, and make sure there are no more clumps.
Pour mix into a 9x9 baking pan that has been lightly coated with either oil or some non stick spray and pop into the oven for 25-30 minutes.

    This is super easy!!! I didn't have apple sauce, so I used 3/4 cup of mashed (frozen and thawed) bananas. Was out of eggs, so I used 1/3 cup Egg Beaters. Turned out great. Ate it warm, slathered with fat free Cool Whip...totally decadent! YUM. :) - 3/17/10

    EXCELLENT!!! Usually these cakes are full of sugar and butter, I loved this one using applesauce, still moist and fluffy. I have even tried different variations, adding tinned fruit and seeds. Beautiful cake. WELL DONE. It will be a favourite from now on! - 4/22/13
