Easy Pintos

Ingredients
1 lb. bag of dry pinto beans1 Turkey legWater1 tbsp flour
Directions
Soak beans for several hours or overnight. When ready to cook, throw beans and the raw turkey leg in a pot of fresh water and bring to boil. Season to taste, I use black pepper and Cavenders. Reduce heat and simmer until the beans reach the desired tenderness. If the water gets too low just add more. Remove a cup of the juice and pour into a bowl. Whisk in a tablespoon or so of flour to thicken, then pour back into the bean pot. If you want a thicker sauce, repeat the flour process until you reach the desired thickness. Skim the fat off of the top and remove the turkey leg bone if desired.


Makes 6-8 servings.
