1 cup whole raw almonds4 cups waterSweetener (honey, stevia, agave nectar) to taste (not included in nutritional information).
Soak almonds in 4 cups of water overnight.
Blend almonds and water in a blender until smooth.
Strain mixture through cheesecloth or strainer bag to separate liquid from almond pulp.
If desired, pour almond milk back into blender and blend with sweetener. Store in the fridge. Keeps for 3-5 days.
Makes 4 1-cup servings.
