spaghetti with meat sauce

Ingredients
1 pd lean ground beef2 cups canned organic tomato sauce1 cup fresh tomatoes1 cup onion2 garlic cloves1 tbsp oregano1 tbsp black pepper1 tbsp red pepper flakes/cayenne1 tsp sugar2 tbsp basilitalian seasoning to taste1tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.

In another pan saute the onions, and garlic in the olive oil, after the onions have softened add the diced tomatoes, leave that to saute for about a minute. Than add all other ingredients, cover, reduce heat and let it cook for like 20 minutes. The sauce is a little spicy and not like your grandmothers but its good.
