Buttermilk Banana Waffles

Ingredients
2c Flour3t Baking Powder1T Sugar3/4t Salt3 Eggs1T Unsalted Butter, melted1 1/2c Buttermilk1c Bananas, mashed (about 2)1/2c Pecans or Walnuts, chopped (optional)1T unsalted butter for brushing waffle iron.
Directions
Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
In another bowl beat eggs with the bananas, slowly add the melted butter, then the buttermilk.
Pour the wet onto the dry, stir until combined. Add nuts if desired.

Brush waffle iron with a little of the reserved butter(you won't need much, if any)
Pour about a 1/4 cup of batter in each square of a STANDARD waffle iron, NOT Belgan.
Done when crisp and golden brown.
