Ingredients
1 egg1/8 cup of 2% Milk1/2 tsp ground cinnamon1/2 tsp vanilla extract2 slices of whole wheat bread
Directions
Simply whisk the egg, cinnamon, & vanilla in a bowl. Dip each side of the bread (one slice at a time) in the egg mixture. Fry until browned on each side.

Of course you have to add your own toppings. Fresh Fruit and some powdered sugar is a healthier way to add some sweetness. I through in a little Redi Whip too.

To cut calories even more, use skim milk instead of 2% percent and find some low calorie bread which can cut the calories in half! It is delicious in the morning. Also, if you are not a fan of fresh fruit on your french toast, Mrs. Butterworth Sugar Free Syrup is only 35 calories for 1/4 cup. - 9/20/09
