Gluten Free Biscuits (Baking Powder Biscuits)

3/4 c. corn starch1/2 c. potato starch1/3 c. shortning1tbsp baking powder1/4 tsp baking soda2/3 c. milk1/4 tsp salt
Mix dry ingredients together. The starches fly all over so mix slowly and carefully. Add shortning, cut into dry ingredients slowly until it resembles corn meal texture. Add milk and mix in thoroughly. Turn out on corn starch surface. Do not knead very much. Pat out to about 1/2 inch thickness, then cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 min. Makes 9-12
