2.5 lbs shredded beef, Carne Piccata (thinly sliced/shredded raw beef)1 c chopped onion3/4 c chopped bell pepper1 c chopped carrots14 oz can Petite diced tomatoes1 Tomato and Chicken Bouillion Cube3 tsp Season Salt2 tsp ground black pepper2 tsp garlic powder2 c water
Season raw meat with garlic powder, season salt, and black pepper. Brown meat in a large skillet, remove to a bowl, reserve drippings. Add in onion, bell pepper and carrots, saute 3 to 4 minutes. Add beef back in to pot. Add in canned tomatoes and stir. Add in 2 cups of water and boullion cube. Stir, cover and simmer 45 minutes stirring occasionally. Makes 8- 1 cup servings.
