Black Bean & Bacon Soup

Ingredients
7 strips bacon, diced1 medium onion, diced2 tablespoons diced green chiles2 cans (15 oz each) black beans, undrained1/2 cup taco sauce4 cups chicken broth1/2 cup sour cream4 yellow corn taco shells, crumbled
Directions
In large pot cook bacon over medium heat 5 minutes; stir several times to prevent burning. Add onions and diced chiles. Cook 5 minutes or until onions begin to brown. Add entire contents of both cans of black beans, taco sauce and chicken broth. Stir to combine; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer on low 20 minutes to combine flavors. Remove half the soup and puree in food processor. Return pureed soup to pot and stir to combine. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and crumbles taco shells.
