Italian Style Round Steak

1 pound round steak, cut into cubes.5 tsp. salt.25 tsp. pepper2 Tbsp. flour1 clove garlic,minced1 15 oz can tomato sauce1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes8 oz. water1 beef bouillon cube2 cups chopped onion2 cups green pepper slices1 Tbsp sugar.5 tsp ground oregano1 - 3 Tbls basil leaves, chopped (or 1 tsp dried basil)1/4 cup red wine (optional)
Place flour, salt and pepper in a plastic bag, mix well. Add beef cubes and shake till all beef is covered and flour is gone. Spray dutch oven with PAM, add cubed round steak and garlic clove. Brown beef & garlic. Add onions and pepper strips. Spray veggies with a little PAM. Cook till onion is softened. Disolve bouillon in hot water. Add water, tomatoes, sauce and seasonings. Reduce heat, cook covered for 1.5 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally and add additional water to prevent sticking.
