Ground Beef & Rice Stir-Fry

Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey (93% lean)6 oz. ground beef (93% lean)1 large onion, diced2 large bell peppers, diced3 large carrots, diced6 garlic cloves, finely minceddiced chile peppers, to taste (optional)5 cups cooked brown rice1 tsp. curry powder2 tsp. Chinese five-spice1/4 tsp. peppersoy sauce, to taste (about 3 Tbsp.)
Directions
Heat sesame oil in a large, nonstick frying pan.

Add turkey and ground beef; cook, stirring, until well-browned and crumbled.

Add onions, peppers, carrots and garlic. Add curry powder, Chinese five-spice and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until veggies are tender-crisp.

Stir the rice into the meat-veggie mixture and season with soy sauce, to taste.

Makes about 16 cups. 10 1.6-cup servings.
