* Onion 1 cup diced * Carrots, 1 cup, chopped * Water, tap, 8 cups * Lentils, 0.5 cup * Barley, pearled, raw, 0.5 cup * Butternut Squash, 1 cup, cubes * Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced * *Knorr Bouillon, 8 tsp
Sauté veggies, Dissolve bouillon cubes while veggies are cooking. This can be done in all or part of the water. After veggies are soft, add them to bouillon water and add lentils and barley. Cook till lentils and barley are soft. Extra water can be added at any time.
