Santa Fe Soup with Ground Turkey

1 lbs lean ground turkey1 c diced onionhalf an envelope of Ranch Dressing/Seasoning Mixhalf an envelope of Taco Bell Seasoning Mix1 can of Rotel 2 cans of beans (kidney, pinto, black, northern.. whatever is your preference, in any combination)1 can of Corn (either white or yellow)1 cup of water
Cook ground turkey with onion in large pot. Stir in ranch dressing and taco seasoning. Add in all other ingredients.
DO NOT DRAIN CANS. Simmer for 1-2 hours

That is a lot of sodium. Is there a reason not to drain the beans? - 9/21/09

The liquid from the cans of beans and veggies make up the broth of the soup. (though it is more of a stew, really) I think the majority of the sodium comes from the tacobell seasoning. So if you are watching your sodium intake you could replace it with similar tasting spices.
