Ingredients
Aprox 2 Flank Steaks 1ish lbs each1 Lime Juiced2 Tbsp minced Garlic1-2 Tbsp Fresh Cilanto chopped (Depending on your taste)1 Tsp Cumin1/2 Tsp Chili Powder1 dash Cayenne pepper1 Tbsp Meat Tendoriser1/2 Tsp Salt1 Tsp fresh ground pepper
Directions
Thaw meat if needed. Put both peices of steak in a large ziplock baggie. Squeeze fresh lime into bag. Add all seasonings into bag and 2 tbsp water so seasoning can coat all sides of meat. Close bag and let set in fridge at least 8 hours or overnight. The longger meat sits the taistier the meat.

Take meat out of baggie and cut fat from steaks(you can also cut it off before marinading but i find it easier to get to after the tendoriser has softend the meat from the fat) Grill the meat on whatever grill you have handy. I used my GerogeForman. Cook to temp of your taste. Slice the meat against the grain into small strips.

I served with pico de gio cheese, and avacado on fajita size wheat torttillas. 1 Serving = 1 taco

Great recipe, did not use tenderizer and still super,I think lime juice may also help in making meat tender. thanks again! - 5/16/11

HOLY MOLY this carne asada recipe is AWESOME!! We used an outside skirt steak instead of flank. It was marinated in this recipe for 26 hrs. After grilling it on a gas grill over medium heat to a medium-rare doneness, it was incredibly tender. Very flavorful. One of the benefits of my husband's job i - 3/29/11
