Pumpkin cookies low fat

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour (I did use white)1 t. baking power and soda1/2 t. salt (I forgot this)1 1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice1/2 cup flax seed (ground)4 T. butter1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce (mine had splenda)3/4 white sugar1/2 cup brown sugar splenda1 large egg1 cup pumpkin puree1 t. vanilla1/2 cup walnuts
Directions
Sift together dry ingredients, except flax seed. Cream butter and sugar. Add applesauce pumpkin, egg, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add sifted dry ingredients and flax seed and mix until smooth. Add in nuts and mix. Drop on sprayed (Pam) cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 15 to 18 min.
