Spaghetti with Garlic and Oil - Low Fat/High Flavor

8 ounces dry spaghetti3 cloves garlic, crushed2 T olive oil1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes1/4 t black pepper (or to taste)dash salt (or to taste)1/2 cup of chicken bouillon1 T chopped basil1/2 c chopped flat Italian parsley1 ounce of freshly grated Romano cheese
prepare spaghetti until al dente and set aside; crush garlic cloves, and in a large saucepan saute in oil. When translucent, add red pepper flakes and continue sauteing for another few minutes to season the oil; add chicken broth, salt and pepper. When liquid is heated through, add spaghetti, tossing to coat, and heating (just a couple of minutes).
Portion spaghetti onto plates and sprinkle each serving with freshly chopped herbs and Romano cheese. Serve alongside a piece of grilled fish or chicken and a nice garden salad.
