Ingredients
Directions
2 slices 100% whole wheat bread1 medium egg (or your size preference or substitute)1 TBSP kraft reduced fat olive oil mayo1/4 teaspoon of Tony Chachere's original Creole seasoning(or season to taste- boy I love salt though- so I kept it to 1/4 teaspoon for you all!)
In a non stick pan spray a bit of olive oil non stick spray. Heat pan (I start on high then reduce heat a couple notches- from HI to 8 or so on my range for quick cooking).
Crack open and add your egg. I dont scramble.
Cook unitl one side is done. Test by lifting edges. Then flip and add some of the 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning (I of course just dash mine on because I am liberal with sodium- this seasoning is sooo good though so I have to be careful even for me)
You will want to run and put your bread in the toaster. If you lightly toast it it is best- just a little browned- not too crispy or anything. Add 1 TBSP kraft reduced fat mayo between the two slices.
Add the rest of the creole spice as needed- you can start small- but once you get a taste you will likely want the rest... Add your "fried" creole spiced egg- and close it up!
Quick hot breakfast and you can add some fruit and get going!
