Grandma's Beef Stew

1 1/2 lbs stew meat2 lbs potatoes3 carrots5 stalks celery1/2 onion8 oz peaswater4 beef bouillion cubes1/2 cup flour1 cup bisquick1/2 cup milksalt, to taste1 tbsp crumbled bay leaf
In large ziploc bag, shake stew meat in flour. Heat oil in stock pot. Brown meat. Cover with water. Add bay leaves and bouillion. Cook about 15 minutes. Add carrots, onion, and celery. Cover with water. Cook 10 minutes. Add potatoes. Cover with water. Cook 10 minutes. Add salt to taste. Add peas, cover with water, and cook for 10 minutes. In small bowl, combine milk and bisquick. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling stew. Cook for 10 minutes uncovered. Cook for 10 more minutes covered.
