Ingredients
1 1/3 cup brown rice or brown & wild rice blend1/2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)1/2 tsp cumin seedsWater, according to directions on package of rice
Directions
Cook rice according to package, adding butter and cumin to pot/rice cooker before cooking.

Olive oil can be substituted for butter to make a vegan version; ghee can be used to make a more authentic Indian version.

The amount of butter and cumin can be varied according to taste.
