Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 cup sugar1/2 cup shortening4 ripe bananas1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt2 cups flour1 tsp vanilla1/2 cup walnuts
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar. Add bananas and vanilla and mix.

Mix in dry ingredients.

Put in greased and floured loaf pan.

Bake@ 350 for 30-40 minutes.

    This recipe tastes awesome, but the nutrition info is WAY off, it is closer to 230 cals per serving, so I ate some and later figured out I had gone way over my cal limit for the day. - 3/23/07
