Creamed Onions

Ingredients
1 lbs boiling onions1.5 Tbl butter.5 c light cream1 tsp salt, or to taste
Directions
Makes 8 2-oz. servings.

Cut off ends of onions and peel them. Cover with salted water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook till very tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain water. Add butter and cream. Cook over very low heat until thickened.
