This is a great recipe. I added hash browns with onions and peppers, Mrs. Dash, garlic, and low sodium chicken broth instead of cubes. I skipped the instant potatoes. It is a great low fat standby when you need it. - 1/13/10

Sodium is way toooooo high for me, just not good for anyone, no matter what life style you choose. Low sodium chicken broth would be much better. Instead of adding instant potatoes I would save the calories and mash some of the O'brien potatoes to make the soup thicker. IMHO - 12/24/12

We LOVE this soup. We skip the instant potatoes and add a bunch of veggies, some Italian seasoning, and salt/pepper to taste. It is delicious!! - 1/19/11
