I mixed 3Tbl of melted butter with 1/4 cup of brown sugar. About 3 min before taking out of the oven spoon mixture in center of each muffin. - 5/30/13

Am I missing something? The directions say mix flour, but there isn't any flour measurement listed in the ingredients. Please advise as I would love to try this recipe. I plan to use applesauce and agave neater. - 9/30/12

Used honey in leiu of sugar- increased the calories per serving by about 20, but I am going to play around with this recipe in the future. Super delicious- vastly better served warm! - 2/24/12

Blended some culinary lavender in with the sugar and added a bit of grated lemon peel. This is a great recipe. My old standby always seemed so dry. Now I have a new favorite! - 7/24/10

Can this recipe be resubmitted without the funny characters? I am not sure of the quantities for salt and flour. I think it is an html problem. Thank you. - 11/21/09

Made bread and muffins - this recipe was so easy and didn't require a ton of ingredients. Both the bread and the muffins turned out moist and were a hit with family. I think in the future I would add a couple more spices but leave everything else as is. Thanks so much for sharing - 3/26/09
