Lentils, 1 cup Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped *Gourd, white-flowered (calabash), cooked, 2 cup (1" cubes) Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 cup, chopped or sliced Tamarinds, 20 gramssalt
boil all the veggies with lentils with 2 3 cups of water( pressure cook them.... in a pig soup pan.. heat oil.. add the chopped onions. saute them with some mustard seeds and cumin seeds.. add the lentils and the boiled veggies, salt,tamarind paste,paprika, and sambar powder and boil till well done.. serve with rice or chapathis.
