Ingredients
Directions
1 can French Fried Onions, crushed1 large egg, beaten2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, butterflied (cut so that they are flat and spread out)
**it is important that you cut the chicken so that the thickness is relatively uniform. you don't want burnt onions on the outside and raw chicken inside!
1. dip the butterflied chicken breasts into the beaten egg, being sure to coat entirely.
2. press the chicken breasts into the french fried onion crumbs.
3. place chicken on a baking sheet lined with foil. (you can press any left over crumbs on top of the chicken after it's on the baking sheet).
4. bake chicken at 400 for about 20 minitues or until chicken is fully cooked.
this chicken always comes out moist....a favorite of my family!
