Scalloped potatoes and Ham

Ingredients
1/2 c. chopped onion2 cloves garlic2 Tbl. margarine or butter3 Tbl. all-purpose flour1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. black pepper1 1/2 cup skim milk1/2 tsp. dried thyme1 1/2 pounds potatoes(4-5 medium)5 ounces ham
Directions
for sauce cook butter onion and garlic over medium heat until tender. stir in flour salt and pepper. add milk cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, stir in thyme.

clean and thinly slice potatoes. layer 2/3 of potatoes in 2 quart casserole dish cover with 2/3 thirds sauce top with ham. then remaining potaoes and sauce. bake covered at 350 for 55 minutes uncover bake an additional 10 minutes let stand 10 minutes and enjoy!
