Cinnamon Apple French Toast

Apples, fresh, 8 small (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb (remove)Butter, salted, 1 cup (remove)Brown Sugar, 2 cup, packed (remove)Egg, fresh, 12 large (remove)Bread, french or vienna (includes sourdough), 16 oz (remove)Cinnamon, ground, 3 tbsp (remove)Milk, nonfat, 3 cup (remove)Raisins, 1 cup packedvanilla extract, 2 tbsp.
Core, peel and slice apples into small pieces.
in a large Pyrex baking pan (12x16) combine apples, raisins, cinnamon (1/2), brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix together well and spread out evenly.
In a large bowl, scramble the eggs with the milk, vanilla, and rest of cinnamon.
Cut the bread into 1" or less cubes. Put bread in the egg mixture and mix well.
Pour bread and eggs over the apple mixture and even out.
Cover with aluminum foil and let sit overnight.
Bake at 400* for 40 minutes with foil on.
Remove foil and bake and additional 10 minutes at 450*.
