Easy Guilt Free Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Ingredients
2 ripe bananas1/2 cup no sugar added applesauce1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour3/4 cup sugar1/4 cup skim milk2 medium eggs2 tsp lemon juice1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees.

In a blender or food processor, combine bananas and applesauce. Process for 20 seconds or until combined.

Add flour, sugar, milk, eggs, lemon juice, baking soda, and salt. Process for 10 seconds.

Add chocolate chips. Pulse until mixed well.

Grease muffins/cupcake pans and pour batter up to the halfway point of a muffin/cupcake pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. To check: stick a toothpick in the middle of the muffin. When the toothpick comes out clean, muffins are done.

Makes approximately 15 medium sized muffins.
