cabbage and noodles

Ingredients
1 head cabbage, chopped or shredded1 1/2 stick parkay1/2 cup chopped onion2 cups egg noodles
Directions
chop or shread cabbage,
cook in skillet with onion and parkay till tender

meanwhile boil egg noodles
drain
add to cabbage
saute till golden

makes 4 servings

    We make this all the time. It's an old family recipe. We've modified ours by using whole wheat yolk free noodles instead, also we 'fry' our shredded cabbage until it's carmelized and then we add the cooked noodles just long enough to stir together and serve. It's a comfort food for us. - 8/13/07
