1 lb Homemade lasagne noodles (or prepared)Sauce:1 large jar of marina sauce1 can diced tomatoes with garlic and basil1 small can of tomato paste1 tbsp chopped garlic1 tbsp Italian seasoning1/4 tsp red pepperCheese Filling:4 oz grated Asiago cheese4 oz grated Romano cheese3.75 cups whole milk ricotta cheese2 eggs
Prepare sauce (or just use jar sauce with saute'd ground beef.
Prepare lasagne noodles (boil if commercial)
Prepare cheese filling by blending cheeses and eggs thoroughly.
Spoon sauce in 9" x 13" pan. Layer with lasagne noodles; follow with layer of 1/2 of cheese mixture. Layer with lasagne noodles; follow with layer of sauce; Layer of noodles, layer of cheese; Layer of noodles, layer of sauce.
Place pan on larger shallow baking pan. Cover lasagna with foil. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Remove foil and cover top with mozzarella cheese; bake for additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 12 pieces.
