Old World Spaghetti Meat Sauce

Ingredients
1 tsp. olive oil, divided4 tsp. minced garlic1 can 28 oz Hunts Petite Diced Tomatoes1/2 tsp. Oregano1 tsp. Basil, dried1/2 tsp. garlic salt, divided2 T. Tomato Paste8 oz. Ground Turkey Breast 97% leanGround Pepper
Directions
Heat sauce pan over medium heat. Add 1/2 tsp. olive oil and 3 tsp. minced garlic (3 cloves). Saute for about 2 minutes. Add Hunts tomatoes, oregano, basil & 1/8 tsp. garlic salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add tomato paste and blend well. Let simmer while you cook the turkey.

In a saute pan, heat 1/2 tsp. olive oil. Add turkey, ground pepper to liking, 1 tsp. minced garlic and 1/8 tsp. garlic salt. Cook until no pink remains and meat is browned slightly. Add this to the tomato sauce and heat for 5 minutes.

8- 1/2 cup servings. Serve over pasta or spaghetti squash.

    We made the sauce simliar to "JAMIE_OQUIN", the previous reviewer. We tripled the recipe, added more garlic and added Italian Turkey Sausage (less the casing). Very good and pretty quick. The only extra thing I would do would be to simmer longer to help evaporate some of the liquid. Very enjoyabl - 4/29/10
