Ingredients
Directions
8 tomatoes or 1 jar Tukas 0 sodium tom paste1 bunch brocolli chunky2-20oz spinach (or 1 fresh bunch)8 oz mushrooms2 lg red sweet peppers chopped2 cups chopped cabbage1 lb baby carrots1 whole celery bunchlarge onion chopped2 cups swiss chard2 cups romaine1/2 cup garlic3 turnips chopped4 potatoes /skin chopped2 cups yams peeled chopped6 Tb oregano6 T basil6 T ground rosemary3 T coarse ground black pepper3 T ground ginger24 tsp Worcestershire sause
Simply put fresh cleaned veggies in 12 quart soup pot with water and simmer for at least 2 hours. You may add salt to taste (I have this prepared for low sodium) I also use one jar of 0 sodium Tukas tomatoe paste in place of whole tomatoes for a thicker, richer veggetable juice.
This makes approximately 6 quarts of strained juice. Veggies are ready for eating also 1 cup servings would be close to the same calories.
Season to taste, I have kept this a healthy , low fat, low salt spicy drink for a great snack or meal replacement.
A daily serving of this can be up to 3 cups per day great for a meal replacement
