Fresh Green Bean Salad with Basil and Tomatoes

1 1/2 pound green beans1 tbsp sugar1 tbsp salt5 ripe meduim tomatoes, slicd3 tbsp Garlic-Basil Dressing
Leave the pointed tips on the green beans, snap off the stem tips. Wash. Bring a large pot of weater to a boil. Add the sugar and 1 tablespoon salt. Drop in the green beans and cook until crips-tender, about 6 to 7 minutes. Drain the beans and lpinge them into ice water to stop cooking. Drain well and refigerate.
When ready to serve toss the green beans with 3 tablespoons of the dressing. Taste and add more dresing or salt as needed. Plie the beans on center of large white platter. Arrange the tomato slices overlapping around the edge. Drizzle same od the dressing on top of them.
