Pasta with peas and carrots

Ingredients
8 oz bowtie pasta2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil1 small onion, diced2 carrots, diced1 cup chicken stock8 oz frozen peas1/2 cup cream cheese1/2 cup mascarpone cheesesalt to taste
Directions
Boil pasta according to package directions. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add diced onion and carrots. Soften. Add chicken stock and simmer for 5 mins. Add peas. Allow to warm for about 2 mins. Add pasta and remove from heat. Add cheeses. Add up to a cup of the pasta water if needed. Season with salt and garnish with chopped basil.
