Ingredients
* Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove) * Onions, raw, 1 large (remove) * *Brown Rice, long grain, 2 cup (remove) * Garlic, 3 cloves (remove) * *Diced tomatoes & Green Chillis Rotel, 10oz can 2.5 serv in can, 2.5 serving (remove) * *Goya Green Pigeon Peas, 3.5 cup (remove) * Turmeric, ground, .5 tsp (remove) * *Salt, Redmond Real Salt Sea Salt (1/4 tsp.), 1 serving (remove) * *bay leaf, 3 serving (remove) * *bacon, lightlife smart bacon, veggie svg=2 slices, 3 serving (remove)4 1/2 cups water
Directions
Makes 5 servings, slightly over 2 cups each.

Brown chopped onion in oil. Add rice and minced garlic. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil cover and cook for 50 to 55 minutes.
