2 Alarm Crockpot Chicken and Black Beans

Ingredients
1 Free Range Chicken Breast, skin removed, bones in.1 can S&W Black Beans Low Sodium1/2 large onion1/2 cup Pace Picante Sauce Medium 2/3 cup Chopped fresh Cilantro1 Tbsp Mexican Oregano1 tsp ground Cumin2 Tbsp Mexican Hot Sauce. I use El pato Salsa Picante
Directions
Remove skin and all visible fat from the chicken breast. Using a strong knife, cut into 4 peices. Leave the bone in to add to the flavor (bones add to your nutrition too!) put chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle cumin and oregano over chicken.
Coarsely chop the cilantro. layer over the chicken.
Coarsely chop the onion, layer over the cilantro.
Pour in the black beans.
pour the hot sauce over the beans. Can be left out for less heat.
Pour the Pace (or salsa of your choice) Picante over all. Use mild or canned tomatoes for less heat, Hot for more heat.
Set crock pot on low and walk away for the next 4-6 hours.
Serve over brown rice.
