Crust:1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup white flour1 cup hot water from tap1 Tbspn quick-rise yeast1 Tbspn honey1 tsp salt1 tsp baking powderToppings:1 cup sauce1 cup mozzarella cheese1.5 roma tomatoes, diced10 medium mushrooms, sliced1/4 cup pineapple2/3 cup crumbled feta2/3 cup fresh spinach, chopped
Crust:
Mix dry ingredients.
In separate small bowl, add yeast and hot water and honey, let rise a few minutes. Add yeast/water/honey to dry ingredients and mix enough to incorporate. Can knead a little.
Set aside crust for 5 min if you have time. Then roll out onto pizza stone. Bake at 325deg F for 5-10min or until crust gets a little bubbly. You can get the veggies ready while the crust is pre-baking. If you like softer crusts, pre-bake for only about 5 min.
Add toppings and bake at around 400deg F for 10-12min.
