* *Peanut Oil, 1 tbsp * Vegetable Broth, 2 cup * Capers, canned, 1 tbsp, drained * *shallot, 1 tbsp * Lemon juice, 1 tbsp * *Aldi Minced Garlic, 1 tsp * *Traditional Seitan (White Wave), 1 serving * *White Wine 1/3 cup
1 Place oil in pan and heat
2 Slice shallot and set aside
3 Dredge seitan in flour
4 Place seitan in pan and cook until browned
5 Remove seitan from pan
6 Add garlic and shallot to skillet, saute--stir frequently to avoiding burning
7 add white wine and bring to rolling boil
8 add broth and lemon juice--can also add salt, pepper, and thyme to taste
9 bring sauce to rolling boil, and cook 7-10 minutes or until half has cooked away
10 add capers
11 dish out with seitan over pasta, rice, or something else of your choosing
