Pasta with Garlicky Roasted Broccoli

6 cups fresh chopped broccoli florets2 cloves garlic, minced1/2 cup chopped walnuts1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper3 Tablespoons olive oil12 ounces whole wheat pasta1/2 cup chicken broth2 Tablespoons unsalted butter1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Combine broccoli, minced garlic, walnuts, pine nuts, salt, black pepper in a medium sized bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sir until coated. Place broccoli mixture on a large rimmed cookie sheet and roast at 400 degrees for 13 miutes, stirring twice.
Cook pasta following package directions, about 10 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
Add broccoli mixture to pasta pot and stir in broth, butter, and Parmessan cheese. Serve immediately.
