Ingredients
1 box Devils food moist deluxe cake mix Duncan Hines1 can Pumpkin, without salt, Egg, fresh, 1 largeWater, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Directions
Combine all ingredients. Batter will be thick.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from center. Cooking times may vary.

You can drizzle a slice of this with a little hershey's choc syrup while the cake still hot and then add a little cool whip for a figure friendly hot fudge cake.

    not low carb at all why would you add 11 carbs per serving of pumpkin to a cake mix with carb. 1/27 of a slice is nothing. the cake alone would be better for Atkins. - 6/18/10

    I didn't state anywhere that it was low carb, just low fat and calories per cupcake size serving. The pumpkin is added for fiber and nutritional value to replace the oil which is not as good for you. It also gives a really rich moist texture. Don't knock it till you've tried it ;)

    This is great!! Just made it and my husband thought that it was my usual chocolate cake! Ha! He is eating healthier and doesn't knowit!!! That is a +++!! But NO Egg. Am allergic to eggs, it is great without it! - 4/20/10
