Ingredients
Mix #11 cup sugar2 eggs1/2 cup molasses1 cup unsweetened applesauceMix #21 cup otas1 cup hot water2 cups branMix #33 cups whole wheat flour2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp nutmeg1/2 tsp salt2 cups milk (add slowly)2 1/2 tsp baking powder1 cup raisins (optional)1 chopped apple (optional)
Directions
Combine ingredients for mix #1 in large bowl then separately combine ingredients for mix #2. Add mix #2 to mix #1 and then add the rest of the ingredients in mix #3 to the bowl. Mix all ingredients until blended. Add fruit if desired. Bake at 350 for 12 mins or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 3 dozen muffins.

Keeps covered in fridge for 3 weeks.
